Irish whisky resembles Scotch scotch in that its active ingredients and formulation is a little different.Note that Irish whisky is composed differently.Peat is almost never ever used when malting Irish whisky, resulting in a whisky with a smoother, sweeter flavour. In many Irish whiskys, the smoky, earthy tastes of Scotch are absent.Common wisdom states that the Irish invented whisky, but it is speculated that the Scots refined it.
